「We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. 」

「This house was lovely! The owner was personable and friendly, making the check-in and stay an easy and smooth process. The house was incredibly child friendly and dog friendly. The amenities in the house were exactly what we needed for our stay. Would highly recommend booking! My family is already talking about going back! 」

「Had a nice vacation at this cabin. My wife and I spent 5 nights. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We are avid hikers and there is plenty of trails to visit. We added an extra day prior to our arrival and Cynthia handled it for us with no issues. She was pleasant to communicate with. Kent happened to stop by while we were on the porch. We had a pleasant conversation with him. I highly recomend this cabin for anyone who loves peace and quiet. We will return at some point.」

「We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin. The location is peaceful and perfect for relaxing, especially with the beatuiy lake nearby. The cabin was clean, comfortable We really enjoyed sitting by the fireplace in the evening. The host was also very kind and welcoming, making sure we felt right at home, We would definitely recommend it to anyone. 」
