"You can choose your type of room and it's very pleasant to do that. I didn't like that there was no microwave. The room was very good. We were happy with our stay and would do so again."

"I wish I was a poet so I had words to describe what a beautiful setting this place has. The sound of the waterfalls was so relaxing. We were literally speechless when we arrived. Our stay could not have been better!! The cabin was super clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding clean & comfortable too. Enjoyed local restaurants."

"John is a wonderful host, helpful and accommodating. Spent 2 nights with 3 of my closest friends. The main comment to describe the main house was, "grandma's camp." (Rustic but homey) The ammentities really made the stay fun, set in a wooded landscape on the lake. The house was clean for the most part. The owner counts on the previous renters to clean the house, all the appliances, including the grill before leaving. We left the toaster oven, trash can and outdoor grill cleaner than we found it."

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."

"Very nice quiet spot. The kids loved the playground a few feet down the road. We all enjoyed the fire pit and making smores every night. Inside was clean and spacious enough that we all enjoyed every bit of it . The washer and dryer on site was handy. There was a early morning wake up call from a roaster down the road which we got a kick out of. White Lake was a distance down the road but the family checked out the dock. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and the host was very nice."
