「It's sort of hard to rate because I stayed involuntarily during the floods in 2025 because I spent the previous night sleeping in my car and couldn't get the hundred kilos home to Port. I'm sure the surrounds are spectacular under normal circumstances but we were almost in the brown water of the river. The cabin was pretty cool though and I felt like it was a great decision and lucky I found them.」

「We had the most amazing time at the Clarendon Forest Retreat. We stayed in the Sanctuary house. The peace and quiet, sitting looking over the hills in the afternoon, and relaxing in the hot tub was so what we needed.
Also, one of the highlights was when we were in the local corner shop, we were sharing with the lady at the cash register that we were staying at the Clarendon Forest Retreat and the gentleman behind us was the builder of the house!

「The only compaint that I have is the condition of the road leading into & out of the entrance. It was in a really terrible & dangerous condition, full of potholes & not safe for sedans. It could cause serious damage to road tyres.
Other than that the cabin was brilliant. It had everything that you would need. 」
