"I was worried about our stay because I had read some mixed reviews. However, I was very pleased eith every aspect of the trip. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, wood laminate floor, no carpet. The heat worked, the TV worked and we had a little refrigerator. Breakfast was more than adequate. Waffle maker, eggs, sausage, some cold cereals, coffee and OJ. I would stay here again. "

"Breathtaking setting and ample, free onsite parking. Outside chairs to sit and admire the sublime lakeshore view with provided breakfast pastry and coffee. Our room (Heathcote, Rm 6) was necessarily small and very cozy with a well-appointed private but across the hall bathroom and good shower. Staff contact was entirely online but all questions answered. Drive into historic Plattsburgh for a variety of great dinner options. Provided breakfast included fresh croissants and muffins. Would very definitely stay again."

"Outdoor space was so perfect. Private and safe! I had emergency surgery the 2nd day of my stay and the blankets and house was nice to come back to. My only complaint is there is no comfy napping/recovery furniture in the living room. The host was so accommodating and responsive! I will definitely be back!"
