「Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hosts with horses and sheep. Similar interests in spinning and knitting. Denise teaches spinning so if you want to try your hand, she has extra wheels. Only negative for us oldies- bedrooms upstairs and bathrooms down with having to navigate steep narrow steps.」

「Owls Head is close to Camden but like a quiet retreat location. The home is beautifully decorated and landscaped. Plenty of room for a family or multiple couples. Would definitely return.」

「We enjoyed staying at this site but we had difficulty with the address. I would recommend putting the number 67 on the outside of the mud room door, which would make it much easier to find the location A member of our party had difficulty sleeping on the pull out couch and recommended a thicker mattress. We also smelled cigarettes upon entry into the building but once the door was open for a short time the smell went away. I would definitely stay at this site again when I the area.」

「Conveniently located with a beautiful view of the harbor. While Rockland is a "working harbor" we found the noise machine in the room adequate for great sleep. The hotel is within walking distance of all the shops and galleries (although we didn't visit any galleries). Three of our four dinners were in town, all within a 5 minute drive. The staff was very helpful in helping me set up a rooftop telescope one one of the clear nights so I could image the Andromeda galaxy. The desk attendant offered...
