Basic hotel for the money

Not a bad facility. Room layout was good. Had a two room suite with each having a bathroom, kitchenette, living area with a desk and dining table. A TV in each room was nice. Seems a little dated/old, but functional. Found a couple of mini-roaches walking around. Grounds also seemed a little lacking in upkeep. Breakfast was very basic. Waffles and oatmeal with coffee, milk and juice.

Manager makes unauthorized charges/ keep deposit

Arrived and put in a room with broken fixtures, roaches and tv that didn’t work. The night clerk did move me and upgraded actually. As great as that was it ended badly when the manager became a shady thief. I renewed one day and it took me till noon to get my ducks in a row and even thought I booked she charged me ( stole 50.00 dollars ) with no authorization or advisement. Checked out left better that I found it literally and she has kept my deposit. Absolute robbery.

The toilet was really gross. It was stained brown in the bottom. The room smelled like cigarettes. There was a cigarette burn/hole on the thin bed cover and a red stain on the sheet. The breakfast area was dirty and the food selection was poor & cheap. (There was a squeeze bottle of Parquay.) The bananas were brown but the apples were okay. There was a half full liter of Dr Pepper and a partial bottle of Gatorade in the fridge. The tvs were pretty nice.
