Killen Time on Lake Martin

You couldn't ask for a better, more centrally located vacation home on Lake Martin!

Killen Time on Lake Martin is a spacious 3000+ sq ft home with 6 bedrooms and 3 full baths. The house is beautifully decorated with a rustic cabin feel. There is a car port with parking for 2 vehicles and ample space for additional vehicles and or boat trailers. A stationary and floating dock can accommodate your boat or jet skis.

The main level consists of a well stocked kitchen with an island and a dining area that has a table for 6. The family room is large with a vaulted ceiling, a gorgeous stone wood burning fireplace, and a wall of windows to take in the view of the water. The partially covered deck has a beautiful slate floor, seating area, and a table for 4. It is the best place to relax and enjoy the spectacular view! The master bedroom is located on this level, it has a private bathroom with double vanities and separate large tub and shower. There are french doors that lead out to the deck for a great spot to sit and enjoy the lake view. Two more bedrooms are also on this level, both have queen beds and they share a full bath with a tub and shower.

The lower level boasts a large rustic family room/rec area with a 75 inch tv for watching movies or sporting events, and a table that seats 4 which is also great for games and puzzles. There are 3 additional bedrooms on this level. Two of these very large bedrooms have beautiful views of the lake. One has a queen bed and the other contains an adjustable king bed. The 3rd bedroom has 2 full beds and a large tv. A full bath with a tub/shower combo and a laundry room with finish out this level. Double french doors lead out to the beautiful lower patio with a seating area and table for 6. It is a short walk with a gentle slope down to the lake and dock.

There is a hammock near the water and an outdoor shower area for rinsing off after enjoying the water. We provide 2 kayaks and a stand up paddle board for guests use, (no life vests are provided so please bring your own).

There are Nest surveillance cams on the exterior corners of the house. All are facing outward and do not have views of inside the house.

Great Thanksgiving and Iron Bowl stay

The house on Lake Martin was lovely. We enjoyed our time there for Thanksgiving and the Iron Bowl with extended family. The house accommodated all of us comfortably and was well equipped. We will definitely return!

Great Weekend Getaway

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful lake house for the weekend! We wanted a place where we could just hang out and relax, and this was the perfect place. The property was well equipped with anything you could possibly need. We really enjoyed the fire pit in the balcony as well! Absolutely would recommend this place, and we would love to come back and stay again next year!

Quiet Getaway

House is situated in a cove which keeps most boat traffic out. Spent a great deal of time just sitting on the dock hanging out and enjoying the peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

Quiet and peaceful and comfortable

The location is wonderful! Just a few minutes from stores and restaurants and a peaceful location for swimming and kayaking. The porch is a nice gathering place for the family to enjoy the beautiful view, eat, and play games with plenty of fresh air and cool breezes. The house provides an abundance of comfortable seats in the outside sitting areas.

Relaxing and quiet area

This was the perfect place for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding! The porches and views of the lake were amazing. The area was quiet and peaceful and just a few minutes away from restaurants and stores. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking for a large family. The only thing we missed was having a ping pong table!

The home is very comfortable and well equipped. The large living room is great for gathering and visiting. Amy, the host, was helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. Accessibility for anyone with limited mobility is good. There are only two steps to gain access to the house and dock. We highly recommend this home and the host is wonderful.

Rustic Gem !

Amy was a great host with great communications and very accommodating. The home was clean and ready for our arrival. The home itself is in a great location on the lake and is beautifully decorated with an upscale rustic feel. Great access to the lake without having to traverse an obsticle course of stairs like many on the lake. Also one of the few with great parking for the amount of people. We really enjoyed our stay here. Perfect for a large family. Thanks Amy !

Wonderful lake home

We really loved this property. It was cozy and comfortable and clean. There were 12 of us older family members and so enjoyed the trip. Please keep in mind that this has six bedrooms with very comfortable beds. There were plenty of towels and a very nice washer and dryer to do laundry. The only suggestions we would make are to add grab bars in the bathrooms and add lighting in the downstairs bathroom and landing from the kitchen. Otherwise we would definitely rent this property again.

Our week on Lake Martin was wonderful and staying in a fabulous home made the week even better! There is lots of room for everyone to spread out but also enough room if everyone is gathered together. We will definitely look into staying at Killintime again. The communication with Amy was great. She was quick to respond to any question I had. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean upon our arrival. One of the things that Amy did that was a very welcoming gesture was having the house decorated for July 4th! Staying at KillinTime is a great place to gather with a great host!

Let’s do it again

The property was amazing. Very spacious and accommodating even for my 90 year-old grandmother. This property also have lots of amenities. If you’re looking for something secluded private and spectacular, this is the property for you. The sunsets and sunrises on this property is to die for. The property manager was also very accommodating and nice. Let’s just say my family and I have done our annual girls trip for 11 years and this is the only property we have want to do a repeat on. Host was great! Home was very nice and clean. Lake views were amazing. Blackstone worked well for cooking for our large group. Lake Martin is a beautiful lake. Rented a pontoon from Skiers Marine and they were great too. We had them deliver to the house dock and that worked great. Very enjoyable time!!

Great place for a lake weekend!

Friends and I had an excellent time at Killen Time on lake Martin for memorial weekend. Our favorite part was the spaciousness of the common areas where our full group had plenty of room to hang out together. Loved the morning lake views and convenient location to boat rental too.

This house is a gem on Lake Martin. I truly cannot say enough good things about this property. The house is in a perfect location, porch is fabulous, views are stunning, dock set up could not be better for all generations to use. The layout of the house and bedrooms make sense for large groups. Beds are comfortable and linens nice. Clean, well stocked and owners super responsive.
