The location being directly across from the beach was superb! There was a lot of sand to lay and walk around, many chairs and umbrellas to rent probably as well I assume. Very easy to walk to any variety of food and souvenir type shopping. Excursions easily arranged. The buffet was okay not great, typically quite crowded. The noise from guests in the room next to you is unavoidable and you just get over it and enjoy your stay. We would return for sure.

I have very mixed feelings about my stay here & wish I read more reviews before booking. Location is great, you can’t fault that! We could literally see the beach sunrise from our room and lots of food/massage etc close by. My biggest issue is the level of noise. You have beach clubs right across from the hotel, which play loud music until late in the night. We were originally on level 6 and had to ask to move higher to level 20 or we would have had to cancel our stay due to not being able to sleep at night. I’d recommend it for price, location, but if you want sleep - don’t book the ocean view room or this hotel. Staff, the men at the door and cleaners were super friendly. Reception staff were okay but think it’s mostly the language barrier, so have Google translate handy. Buffet breakfast was okay and lots of options. We had it occasionally for convenience

Depending on the source, the Eden Ocean View Da Nang is listed as either a 4-star or a 5-star hotel. It is definitely not. Service was the worse I've ever experienced in a hotel. When we arrived, there were 3 "doormen" or "bellhops" standing at the entrance and none of them offered to help bring my carry on suitcase up the stairs. The entire 6 day stay, no one ever opened a door for us even when they were standing in front of it. I came back one night to find that housekeeping had swept the floor out in the hallway but left the pile of dirt in the middle of the floor. Food at the buffet is lukewarm or cold except for the hard boiled eggs or the noodle station. The egg station only fries eggs and are not made to order. They just fry them and stack on a plate for you to grab from. Note I didn't try a lot of the food because it didn't look very good so other dishes may have been hot but I doubt it from the texture of them. A lot of the bread was hard so it wasn't fresh. Staff were very slow to take away plates and clear tables. Maybe it's just me but I found it odd that they don't provide hand soap so you have to use the shower gel to wash your hands. All in all, it's not a horrible hotel but don't expect a 5-star experience.

Unfriendly staff horrible breakfast

horrible unfriendly front desk people. Breakfast area look like night market.we stayed in room 2102 .there is a big piece of metal hanging outside of the hotel wall supposed to be attached the wall might fall any time kill someone at the sidewalk. And the first time I saw a hotel give to guesses room keys with room number on it. Imagine you drop your key while you walking outside and someone finds it will know which hotel and which room you staying!!
