"The room was good. The hallway and stairs had some challenges. The winding staircase was extremely narrow and the the railing was was not strong. It moved a good amount when usig it. In the hallwas right as you enter from the street a drywall box is protruding from the wall just at or slightly above head height. Depending on your height. Could be quite dangerous. I amm am in construction feild and these are serious saftey issues. Sorry.."

"We spent 2 nights here in mid August and had an fantastic stay. My 10yr old Son is a WW2 enthusiast and in his own words "an amazing hotel with some really interesting relics, the room was fantastic and looked like a 1940s bedroom, would definitely stay again". Such a nice place to unwind after a day of sight seeing and the owners put up a great breakfast so youre ready for the next day! Cant wait to return!"

"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows. No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located. Rooms are clean, bed was firm. "
