Best place that I stayed at in Peru. Beautiful home with everything you need plus an amazing breakdast. Vilma goes above and beyond to make sure all her guests are taken care of and it feels more like a home of a family member than a hotel. Will be returning there next time I'm in Cusco.

Wonderful

Vilma is the biggest reason why you should choose this place to stay. She is warm, friendly, serviable and always there to help out with anything you'd need. She's super sweet and very kind. I loved staying here because it all feels very personal and you know you're helping out a family and not a big hotel chain. It just feels better :)

My friend and I had an amazing 4 day stay at Vilma's place. The place is spacious and clean. The location is within a walking distance of the main square, but is still very quiet at night. Every morning Vilma made breakfast for us. This was by far the best breakfast we had in Peru. Vilma is an attentive and kind host who truly cares that her guests have a great experience on their travels. Finally, the value you can't beat. We highly recommend staying here.

Highly recommend this place. Vilma and her husband Ali really made us feel at home right from the beginning. This is more like a BnB than a hotel. Thanks to that the service provided is very personal. The room itself was very clean and has the basic essentials. But the biggest plus of this place is Vilma and Ali. She helped us arrange a taxi pickup from the airport as well as later for short drives in the city. The breakfast was excellent everyday- eggs, bread, fruit bowl and the excellent coffee. We used to leave the place early in the morning for all the day trips, and Vilma would get up early to ensure we had breakfast. All the small requests we had were always attended to quickly with a smile on the place. The places itself is a short taxi drive to the center and also has a few eating options close by along with a supermarket 2 min away.

Staying at this quaint and lovely B&B reminded me of sleeping over at my grandma's house in the 1980s. Doña Vilma is warm and welcoming, and ready to help with anything you may need. She had bread, tea, and fruit waiting for us in the morning and cooked eggs fresh as soon as we were up. She also asked the day before what kind of fruit my kids like. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The location is close enough to the central plaza to be accessible, but far enough away to be quiet when you're ready to leave the action. It's probably walkable, but note the city center is uphill from Belle Maison, so if altitude impacts you, you might plan on a taxi. We took a cab for 6 soles (less than $2) and it was just a few minutes' ride. Ubers cost us 8-12 soles from the central plaza to Belle Maison (less than $4). There is a refrigerator if you need to store your drinks, and they held our luggage for us after we checked out but before a late evening flight. We stayed at 4 different modestly-priced hotels during our travels in Peru, and this was by far our favorite.

The Belle Maison is located at a great proximity and a short walk from the Wanchaq Train Station for an early departure to Machu Picchu. It is also close to several grocery stores and restaurants. Vilma is an excellent host and ensured my stay was extremely enjoyable. The breakfast and coffee was the best I had on my trip.

Great Budget Hotel in Cusco

Wonderful home - very inviting

Vilma and her husband are very caring and accommodating. Vilma has such a positive energy - it’s always great to come back to the residence and see her. Though her husband does not speak much English, he is very friendly and always quick to offer a warm hello. Their home is very well decorated and clean. My room was large and well-furnished. There are many places to eat nearby, though it seemed most closed at 8pm. It’s a 20 minute walk to the center, but I often prefer not to be amongst all the other tourists. Wi-fi worked great. Vilma makes you feel very welcomed and appreciated. I would certainly stay here again.

Perfect Stay in Cusco !!!!

Vilma welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived after nearly 24 hours of travel. She brought us to our rooms earlier than check-in time so we could take a quick nap. She lead us to a bank were we could get some Soles ad suggested and delicious restaurant for lunch. We were up very early the next morning to begin our Inca Trail hike, and she was up with us. She made sure we had everything we needed, including water! She even let us leave our extra luggage in storage while we hiked. I cannot say enough nice things about Vilma and the room we stayed in. It felt like home and was very cozy and comfortable. Everyone should stay here and get the chance to meet this wonderful host family!!

Great Stay in Cusco

We stayed here after our Inca Trail trek. Vilma and her husband were absolutely AMAZING. We arrived on Christmas day and they went were so welcoming to us and went beyond the norm to make our stay comfortable. She made sure we were well rested after a long trek and served us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. She also helped us plan out travel time to the airport and helped us communicate with the locals when our Spanish was not sufficient enough. I would 110% recommend this to anyone!
