「Beautiful property, well maintained and peaceful grounds to relax in. Excellent breakfast, items were fresh and delicious. My only complaint is that there was a slight musty odor and no hair dryer in the room. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again.」

「We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 12. We visited in March and it was very quiet/serene. Portovella has a beautiful view of the Douro. Riverside walk is just several steps down a hill. Photos don’t do it justice because it is so breathtaking in person. The comfort suite was the perfect size with 2 bathroom ensuites and a powder room. View from the suite was incredible.
