Cumberland Island National Seashore is a treasure with it's mostly pristine maritime forest full of beautiful Live Oak trees draped in Spanish Moss & the deserted natural beaches & dunes. Everyone who loves Nature will enjoy this place, just bring what you need, there's nothing to buy on the island & the Cumberland Queen Ferry is the only way to get there, legally.

The ferry was awesome but the port at St. Mary's was awful because of the hateful attendants, especially Elizabeth.

The workers at the ferry port in St. Mary's, particularly Elizabeth, were hateful and rude. Getting checked in and getting on the ferry was confusing. The ferry ride itself was nice and the trip to Cumberland Island was awesome.
