Welcome to Cub Run Lake House Retreat, a spacious 5-bedroom, 3-bath getaway near Nolin Lake with seasonal lake views and plenty of room for families and groups to gather or spread out.
Enjoy the lake with three complimentary kayaks and life jackets, or launch your boat at the nearby public ramp and dock. Lake access from the home is a short walk of up to five minutes around the tree line.
Back at the house, soak in the private hot tub on the lower deck, relax on the upper deck beside the gas fire pit, cook dinner on the gas grill, or keep the friendly competition going in the game room with pool, ping-pong, foosball, and basketball arcade games.
The full kitchen is ready for group meals with a gas cooktop, electric double ovens, a full-size stainless-steel refrigerator, dishwasher, and a combined Keurig and drip coffee maker. A second refrigerator and freezer in the garage provide extra room for longer stays.
Remote work is easy with measured 1 Gbps upload and download fiber internet and a dedicated workspace in the primary bedroom equipped with a 27-inch monitor, dock, keyboard, mouse, and headset. Smart TVs are available for streaming; cable service is not provided.
Parking is included in the gravel driveway and attached one-car garage, with space for up to eight vehicles. Trailers and RVs are welcome but must be backed in because there is not enough room to turn around; hookups are not available. All guest areas and listed amenities are for your group's exclusive use and are included with the stay.
Seasonal lake levels: The Army Corps normally begins Nolin Lake’s fall drawdown around October 15, reaches winter pool around December 1, and typically returns toward summer pool by mid-April. At winter pool, open water recedes from the property and Little Dog Creek and Big Dog Creek are visible instead of the lake. Exact timing and water levels vary with rainfall and Corps operations.
