⭐️ You're going to absolutely love spending time in our adorable RETRO RETREAT!
It's a blast from the past with all the modern amenities and brand new kitchen, appliances, flooring, lighting, bathroom, deck, landscaping, windows, air, furniture and even our seawall are NEWLY RENOVATED. 💯

⭐️The Retro Retreat is one side of a duplex, but each side is its own individual private home. A fence separates the backyard giving you complete privacy of your deck and backyard. The only shared space is the kayak launch right at the seawall. This side is also on the end right next to the vacant lot.

KITCHEN/LIVING
➡️ Our brand new eat-in kitchen includes a COFFEE STATION, RETRO refrigerator and plenty of new cookware to stir up a quick meal! A stackable washer/dryer is also located in the kitchen area.
➡️ In the living room, have a dance party or relax listening to some classic records on our RECORD PLAYER. We have 55' ROKU SMART TV for watching movies and don't miss out on our oh so fun GUM BALL MACHINE!

🛁 BATHROOM
The full tub/shower bathroom has vanity storage, shelves, towel hooks, safety bar and tub treads to assist you with stepping in and out of the tub.

🛏️ BEDROOMS
The KING and QUEEN bedrooms each have comfy beds with extra pillows, linens, a wall-mounted smart TV, individual bed lamps with usb ports. The queen room also includes a single self-inflating air mattress. The large closets each include hangers, storage shelf, dresser, hamper and luggage rack.

🔵 ATTENTION KAYAKERS - We have a kayak ramp and launch making it easy to get in and out of the canal. Water shoes are recommended for your safety and life jackets are provided.

🔵ATTENTION BOATERS The BOAT SLIP for this property is located on our vacant lot next door. There are two paths out to Kings Bay, one with a small bridge that tends to be deeper and one that is more shallow with no bridge. We can help advise you on what's best for your boat. Tides high and lows may need to be watched more in winter months as the canal can get very low. Pontoons and flat bottom boats are best. We can accept boats up to 24' at absolute most. Watch out for the manatee, dolphin and turtles that love our canal!

Guests will have access to all spaces inside home and outside including private back deck, backyard, new waterfront picnic table area and shared kayak launch. Our unique home is a duplex, but backyard spaces are separated by a fence. The shared kayak launch is directly in the middle of both backyards and will be accessible to parties staying on each side of the duplex.

Coveted neighborhood of Palm Springs is very quiet, safe, and mostly retired persons. No neighbors live across front of house or across backyard canal. Neighborhood is walking and biking friendly. There is a single driveway long enough for 2 cars. Boat trailer parking is available in the vacant lot next door. Further instructions will be provided at check-in.

CLEANING
We hope to pride ourself in making our home safe and clean for our guests. Our expert cleaners impose a detailed process of disinfecting and sanitizing all linens and rooms after each guests stay. 🧹🧼 Our mattresses are also fully protected. Please let us know prior to your booking if you have concerns regarding personal allergies. 😊

PEST CONTROL
In addition, our home is professionally treated for pests on a quarterly basis and we can provide you with this updated certificate upon request. We cannot however guarantee you will not see a bug or insect inside the home during your stay as this is FLORIDA! 😊. We use aggressive pest control but with our vast wildlife critters can still find their way inside. Keep doors and windows closed when not in use. Our neighborhood is often sprayed for mosquitoes and noseeums, but bring mosquito spray in case you need it.

CAMERAS
Motion sensor recording devices are set up in 2 places on the property. One is by the front door/driveway and the other is on the back of the house facing the backyard and deck. These help ensure all house rules are kept and your safety is made a priority.

SAFETY
There is one step to get into the house, a step over onto the deck through the backdoor and a step off the deck onto the backyard.
In the bathroom, guests will need to make a high step into the tub/shower and a big step down out of the shower. A grab bar, shower treads and bath mat are all provided to make the transition as safe as possible.
The seawall and canal areas of the backyard are not recommended for children to be left in unsupervised. These are potentially dangerous areas due to the height of the seawall and unforeseen wildlife. Never leave children alone outside.

ACTIVITIES
We will provide recommendations to restaurants, outdoor activities, places to shop and visit before arrival if requested. Otherwise, our "guidebook" is available to you on the listing for you to review anytime!⛱️ 🍽️ 🤿
