"3-hour delay to check in until 7p.m., which ruined birthday dinner plans. Once checked in, room lacked towels adequate for two people. Knock at the door was a 1/2 hour early to check out. Staff was apologetic but that did not give the 3 hours back. "

"Staff was very helpful. We were able to check in earlier before check-in time 4pm. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable and cozy with white sheets. Close to restaurants and springs."

"We only stayed one night and we the apartment room. Very spacious, you could host a small event in there. All the docks are fishable, but would say it’s too shallow for much. On the other hand, it’s perfect for the manatees. They would swim in and out of this area and one of them particularly loved to stick its nose in the small opening in the spring fed pool. Speaking of the pool do not be afraid of it. It is awesome! Yes, there are fish in there. Yes, there are plants but it’s crystal clear and very refreshing. If you’re looking at those, I was the owner will be there and she may take you over to where the spring starts behind the property. Very interesting. We definitely plan to come back again at some point and stay for longer than the one night."

"This is an odd property. First, it's a motel, which wasnt clear to me, but no problem. The motel Is difficult to find & even more annoying to park across the street at some run down motel. We tried to take the handicap spot, but there is no overnight parking for disabled. The check in woman was bizarre and semi confrontatal. We told her we planned to see the Manatees. She said there's no way we will see any & then accused the kayak company of lying. She was a weirdly hostile. The restaurant they boast of was closed on a Thursday. The room. Omg. It was so strange. The layout is so poorly designed. Office chairs & shelves. Nowhere to sit. The rooms are big, so a lot of potential squashed for a sterile & unwelcome place. You know it's bad, when a customer checking in, said , well luckily it's only one night. We could not wait to get out of there. "

"I would not stay here again. One lady behind the desk was not pleasant at all. The bathroom was a nightmare! the shower and the toilet were all together and of course everything got wet or damp . The entire place seemed rundown and seedy. I was very disappointed"

"Lovely home! Amazing place for a family getaway.Close to parks, restaurants, and downtown area.We used the boats, we caught fish off the dock, there was even a manatee in the channel behind the house. No problems and great communication with owner."

"lights on the outside of the second story were out making it very dark. parking lot lights were on. I reported it but nothing was done."
