There was some confusion about the bed linnen and towels that are not included (although the advert says it is) costing an extra 14 Euro PP. The house itself is situated somewhat remote but in a very nice and quiet setting with pool and jacuzi and a large garden. The house itself needs some modernization but is practical. "

"Annonce quelque peu trompeuse, vous ne serez pas au milieu des vignes, vous ne les verrez même pas de votre logement.Vous serez au bord d'une route très passante ou les gens roulent à grande vitesse. Vous aurez les bruits de roulement incessants si vous comptez manger dehors.La décoration très "anglaise" est assez particulière...Si vous avez des animaux de compagnie attendez vous à ce qu'on vous demande un caution de 500 euros à votre arrivée !La piscine est vraiment très bien ! "The room was very comfortable. The staff went above and beyond. We told her we ate early, not at 7 as was the case there. She was nice enough to order us a delicious dinner that was delivered at 5:30. We were very appreciative. We had to leave early in the morning, 5 am. It was a little strange waking up to a dark building but we figured it out."

The location is perfect for the Rugby ground but also for various shops and restaurants nearby...our favourites are Léon and Noz for lots of bargains. The bus stop into the town centre is just outside the gates of the hotel. Plentiful parking and excellent staff. "

"The staff was very friendly and the place was clean, albeit very basic. The soap for the sink was not available, we had to keep squeezing out of the shower stall. Not too bad since all you had to do was turn around. There is no shower curtain either so you had to make sure the shower head was turned in. The bathroom is not very private, it has an open top and the doors are just like blinds. "

"Martine is very hospitable and gave us homegrown tomatoes and homemade jam and kept the pool beautiful however the accommodation needs updating, & is not to my standard of hygiene. Something in my bed on the mezzanine made me itch. There is barely any light in the kitchen which made it difficult to cook. The only supermarket is a Super U which is about 11 miles away, nothing in the village. Positives: the pool, the hot water, the proximity to the mountains and Lourdes if you’re of a mind to visit. We left early due to the impending strike by ferry workers."
