「Great location,great food and easy check in 」

「Had a lovely 2 night stay here. Travelling solo and was made to feel very welcome. The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lovely comfy bed and great shower. Owners were very friendly, bothing was too much trouble and i recommend the pancake breakfast! Sooooo nice! If you gwt chance to sample the chocolate cake you wont be disappointed! 」

Everything about it was perfect - my room was cosy and warm with all the facilities I needed (including a coffee machine!) and a sea view, the food was amazing (I ate here in the evening as well as for breakfast) and staff were friendly and helpful. If the price is right (I got a discounted rate this time due to having some one key credit), I will definitely stay again :)」

「Absolutely loved my stay at The Black Lion Royal Hotel. The room and bathroom were spotless and clearly very well looked after. The people at the reception are incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. The English breakfast was delicious and freshly made each morning. Plus, the hotel’s pub has such a cute, cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxing evening. Highly recommend!」

「I booked a single room which was ok. A little tired but obviously, the main rooms with a view possibly being sorted first. The other rooms left early in the morning and left the doors slam which kept me awake from the early hours. Door fixings need to b more gentle when they close. I did ring down to reception but failed to get an answer as I was having trouble with the tv remote. Unable to get the volume increased. I’m sure, in time, all the rooms will b renovated.」
