「The property is old, the room needs an update and some maintenance throughout. It is in a good location right by the lake and was quiet. 」

「This place is awesome!! First of all, thanks to the front desk person we were able to check in an hour late after the front desk closed. Parking went smoothly, even with a bunch of snowmobile trailers around. The sleeping part was great! Comfortable beds and smart TVs which allow us to stream. In the morning we tried the shower and let me tell you this is the complete opposite of your typical hotel shower. 「Staying at this hotel in the winter (off season) was not ideal. Too much snow, parking challenging, and hotel office closed. Room was fine, but no view of the lake. My room key didn’t work on my last day, so staff had to re-issue a new key. For winter, I recommend staying 7 miles north in town..Grand Marie…where there are more guests, better overall parking, access to businesses and customer service.」
