"If you enjoy tranquility and luxury you will love The Ambasador. Watching the yachts come and go and enjoying the people using the promenade out front from our balcony was a wonderful thing. Looking across the water to the city was magical. The Ambasador is most likely the best place to stay in Split. "

"This is a first class hotel and I really enjoyed my stay here. I traveled during low season (stayed for a little over a week) and the staff took great care of me. I had a massage at their spa and it was also wonderful. The massage therapist was one of the best I've had. This hotel has great amenities -- pool, spa, and it's right by the beach, perfect for morning and evening walks. The area is safe, good for female solo travelers. This hotel is not at the city center. While it is close to the beach, it's not close to many restaurants or grocery stores or pharmacies. No close laundromat either. Though there is one grocery store close by, and for me, that was enough. You'd have to take a bus or Uber to the city center. Uber or Bolt cost $10 one-way on average so it's not bad. I thought the food was good at the hotel restaurant, not the best, but good. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the cheesecake is a must and the best I've had!"
