Crescent Beach Motel

"The room was well-furnished in a mid-century modern style, which suited the age it was built. Unfortunately, we did not have an ocean view (because we didn't want to pay the extra 100 dollars!) so it was difficult, at first to get any sort of breeze in the room without exposing ourselves to everyone who walked by. (There is no air conditioning.) And with the windows open there is a lot of road noise from highway 1/101! It did quiet down significantly at night. The location is fantastic as you can walk right out onto the beach and there seemed to be plenty of chairs on the porch to enjoy the view of the ocean."

"The outside of the house doesn’t do the inside justice. It was very clean and comfortable. Wish the windows all had screens to bring in the fresh air but overall, we had a great stay and it’s a great location. The stairs are steep and the walk up from street but Will book again!"

"The front desk staff were very polite and helpful, as was the woman setting up and refreshing the morning breakfast buffet. The property is definitely dated but it was clean and comfortable. We were on second floor and the third floor footsteps could easily be heard. Fortunately the walking about the upstair room quieted down at a reasonable hour."
