"I thought I booked a nice resort for my husband, my 1 yr old and I, its more like a pretty motel 6. The front desk was very friendly but once I found my room, which is outside by the way, the key didnt work my husband had to hike back to the front office three times. They informed me if there was any smoke at all in the room I would be charged $250. Which I’m fine with I don’t smoke. Well that night I woke up smelling smoke and freaked out, apparently the person next to our room was smoking outside our room and there is a big gap at the bottom of our door so anytime someone smokes I could smell it. Very frustrating since I have my 1 yr old with us. People were loud until 1am the walls are paper thin you hear everything! If your looking for a nice resort this isn’t it. The breakfast is a joke the same watered down eggs and hard pieces of bacon you get at a cheep hotel. I didn’t feel safe. Gave me the creeps"

"The room was very clean; however, there was a lack of any sort of broom/dustpan and zero paper towels available when arriving. We opted to avoid any room service during the stay, and the lack of broom made it difficult to keep sand out of the room. We only went to the pool one day, we were honestly a little underwhelmed with the size of the pool - I can't imagine how cramped the pool would seem during more peak times of the year. We had to do a last minute audible on where we were staying (going from a beach rental to a property located on the harbor), and we were absolutely not disappointed with the beach shuttle service - but I could see there being some requests for it to run later as it ended around 5-6 PM. Location of the property offered A LOT to do during the trip regardless of external weather conditions. There seemed to be a lot to do in the area for many different crowds/ages. Never been to a spa or had a professional massage before, but the Emerald Grande set the bar high for future spas/massages with their paid on site services. Renovations made getting into the Harbor Suites room restricted/odd, with the only entrance/exit to the floor the rooms are located on being the parking garage. I could see this being a safety concern as the parking garage itself was available to the public (with levels 3 and above requiring a room key to access via a car). If I were a female patron, I'd have been more concerned always having to go through the parking garage."

"Our Family had a wonderful stay! House was beautiful and spacious!Great location! Host was responsive and accommodating to our needs. Definitely would stay again!!"

"It was very clean and staff was really nice and helpful. The TV did not work and there was no service in the room. It was a little toasty and humid in our room. Other than those things it was ok."

"The property and the inside of our room was horrible. Sheets had sand all through them, black mold in the bathroom. Tub was clogged up. We only had half a roll of toilet paper. 2 towels for the 3 days we were there. We had to move rooms because our first room was covered in weed and the smell of weed. Will never return there again."
