"Loved the pool and area on the roof! My only complaint is the nosey traffic, which can't be helped, but nice to be aware of that. Also, it says oceanfront but there is a busy street, the main one... the ocean is there, but its kinda dirty down on that part and not much beach area. The staff outside letting you in and out are very nice, polite and helpful. I felt safe inside the property as a solo woman traveler, but I wanted to be able to walk on the beach at night from my room. I just couldn't...

"The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "Place was nice and clean. The Jacuzzi is a cold water jacuzzi and didn't work for most of the stay, but it didn't matter since we were there for the beaches anyway. The owner was very easy to work with and communicated very quickly before, during and after. Taxis were very easy to get just by walking to the edge of the property and waiting for a minute or two at the longest. The bed was nice and firm and the shower was hot! If you are wanting to save a few dollars this is the place to stay....

"Mi marido y yo elegimos El Cozumeleño para un viaje con el propósito de renovar energías, y no pudimos haber tomado una mejor decisión. Desde el primer momento la atención del personal fue impecable: siempre amables, atentos y con una sonrisa, lo que hizo que nuestra estadía fuera aún más especial. La comida es otro punto fuerte; cada platillo estuvo delicioso, con gran variedad y calidad, realmente supera las expectativas. La playa del hotel es hermosa, de aguas cristalinas y tranquilas, ideal para disfrutar y relajarse. Además, la diversidad de peces es sorprendente, lo que la convierte en un lugar perfecto para hacer snorkel sin necesidad de alejarse demasiado. El hotel no es de lujo, se nota que tiene sus años, pero eso no le quita encanto ni comodidad: cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar unas vacaciones inolvidables. "Enjoyed this stay for a joint bachelor/bachelorette trip! It was a beautiful stay with very clean rooms. The only complaint I have is the staff seemed pretty non-existent & I wish the buffet had some more options especially for breakfast dining. Regardless, the resort is pretty well kept up, dinner spots were delicious & the drinks were great! "
