"The property owner was very unresponsive. It was missing a few important amenities, which we then purchased under our own cost. Although the owner promised that we will be reimbursed for the cost, no actual reimbursement was given. There were water leakage in multiple spot which the owner failed to provide any solutions on. "We've been coming to this hotel since 2014 and have enjoyed it every time we've been, this trip was completely different than our last, which was just last September. I'm not sure if it was a management change or an owner change, but it was a complete 180 from our previous experiences here. This trip was way understaffed, the restaurant was not open our entire stay, it was eating at the buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It would be nice to have had the option of sit down dinner and order of a menu dinner. During the day we spent our time at the beach snorkeling and swimming in the 'natural pool'. The beach bar didn't open till 1 and sometimes even after that. And the bartenders would disappear and the life guard would have to radio him to come make a drink. Come to find out, they were getting pulled from the bar to go work in the buffet for the lunch hours. This type of service is unacceptable. Hire some more workers so they are not spread so thin. Like I said, we've been coming for years and this might have been our last time ..... Makes me sad it was that bad to feel this way."

"Nice resort with very friendly & helpful staff. We had a medical situation & Samuel helped us which we greatly appreciated. Everyone was super friendly & eager to make sure we had an enjoyable vacation. The grounds are pretty but the pools were in need of cleaning. The buffet did not have a lot of options so that was a little bit disappointing but there are several restaurants on the resort to choose from. The restaurants alternative days they are closed so make sure you pay attention to that schedule & get to dinner when they open, otherwise expect a wait. The beach is sandy but beware as the water is mostly coral so it can be very tricky getting in & out, definitely recommend water shoes. The water was beautiful! They are remodeling the resort in between Dreams & Secrets so there was a lot of construction noise while laying on the beach. We stayed in building 34 at Dreams so we did not hear it from our room. We just had to walk down the beach to Secrets to enjoy some peace on the beach. They have free kayaking for 30 mins, a fun bar with swings, nightly activities & a club that never had anyone In it. Overall it was a good experience"

"This is a wonderful, very clean hotel in a great location. We’ve stayed here often because it is within easy walking distance to most of the main city. The staff is excellent! My only complaint this time was the internet. We stayed on the 3rd floor, on one end of the balcony rooms overlooking the ocean. The internet was almost nonexistent, most of the time, in our room. I found out after the stay was over they have extenders which will boost the signal but you have to ask for one. I highly recommend staying here, but if you get in a room with weak internet, be sure to ask for an extender!"
