"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "Check in was a bit delayed for a late check in. The front desk questioned me several times about the booking and I felt because I was dressed in basketball shorts and muscle shirt I was being judged a bit even after showing the itinerary as if I was lying. But once confirmed her attitude changed. Aside from that the stay was great. Spa and restaurant employees were courteous and helpful. Great buffet options and food was fresh and delicious. The spa amenities were very clean and updated. Outdoor pool areas very clean and well maintained. The curtain in the restroom window was not functioning properly to open."
