"This is a beautiful basement apartment up a steep long driveway . Not far from a small town with stores and restaurants if needed . Very gracious host . Beds very comfortable. Excellent linens on the beds . Plenty of clean towels . Deer in the yard when we got here .Owner Brian was welcoming , and helpful . Very peaceful location . Feels like you’re on top of your own mountain. "

"We wanted a relaxing getaway for a long weekend and that's exactly what we got. The house is located right on the river and we spent our mornings and evenings on the deck enjoying the view. It is within an hour to New River Gorge National Park and several state parks. There is plenty of space to explore near the house with the Elk River Trail right across the road. The house is clean and well-equipped and the owners are very communicative. We would definitely stay here again if we are going to...

The room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. Waking up to a beautiful mountain view from the balcony was a bonus. The pool and hot tub area was clean and relaxing, and the complimentary breakfast was fresh and satisfying. The hotel is conveniently located for exploring central West Virginia, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet. It’s clear this place is run with pride and integrity, and Ryan’s leadership makes a real difference.
