「A very warm, accommodating welcome, staff were delightful. Rooms were so comfy and well equipped, provisions for our four legged friends were also provided. Food was slightly on the slow side but delicious when it came. Breakfast was included in our stay. Free parking. Free wifi. Totally recommend.」
「I stayed at the White Hart on a work trip and it was delightful. Quintessential English charm and all the comforts of home while I was away. The food was great and the coffee/lattes are even better. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the room was neat and comfortable. I was sad to have to leave but had a lovely time!」

「 Alovely lovely place to stay and we Will stay again ,loved that the floors are wonky but what do do expect just full of character loved it . A heads up my partner is 6ft the shower was a little on the small size .. the room was slightly smaller than we expected . The people are lovely can’t fault it at all , food was lovely enjoyed the crab especially … it was b+b shame we were not offered a cold takeaway brekkie as sadly we were leaving before breakfast was served . 「We stayed at the Ropemaker for five nights and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its restaurant. We had a lovely king-size bed that was very comfortable. The room had a portable air conditioning unit that kept it very cool, which we appreciated. However, it is noisy at night. The outdoor bar area is super cute and has little cabanas that seat about 4 guests. We'll definitely stay here again.」
「A bit of an issue with the booking and whether breakfast was included or not. Advertised as free continental breakfast for all rooms, only to be told on arrival it wasnt included. Used the Expedia agent on the app to query, with screenshots. Breakfast hamper came about 15 mins later. Other than that, all good. Would stay again.」
「Everything was great !! Well renovated, cozy room, delicious full english breakfast, a beautiful garden, two friendly cats……, hugely heartwarming hospitality by the gentle owner above all ! Her “Anything else can I help for you? ” always encouraged me so much. Very sad at leaving.」
