Martine & Jean-François welcome you to a charming traditional 18th century farmhouse, fully renovated, nestled on a south-facing hillside, with a panoramic "balcony" & "belvedere", in the heart of a small rural residential hamlet overlooking Couches, a picturesque medieval village perfectly preserved & full of charm (wine & shopping), located on the route of the old Roman road Agrippa, rich in many amenities & an exceptional heritage (including the sumptuous castle of the Queen of France Marguerite de Bourgogne dating from the 13th century). Nestled in the gentle countryside of the Côtes Chalonnaises in a protected area in ZNIEFF for its floral & faunal riches, in the hollow of a peaceful valley combining wooded meadows, bucolic vineyards, pastures & forests, the village benefits from a magnificent preserved landscaped setting, totally soothing. Very comfortable cottage. Ultra spacious. Warm country character enhanced by the soul of the original building (stone fireplace mantel, majestic stone "corbel", beams, period framework upstairs, etc.). Large exposed gravel terrace adjoining a pleasant enclosed sloping garden of 300m² (apple trees, peach trees, pear trees, cherry trees, etc. with picking authorized / free "surplus" from the vegetable garden also possible on occasion) completed by a pétanque court, a swing & an outdoor spa.
