The Revolution Hotel was okay overall. We opted for a room with a bathroom. Note, if you don't opt in, you will be assigned a room without a bathroom and will need to use the shared bathrooms and showers. The room was very small, and our in-room bathroom, while adding to the overall convenience, was not great given that using the shower would result in water covering the bathroom floor and toilet. In our case, a shower of more than 3 minutes would result in water nearly overflowing into the room. By contrast, the shared bathrooms and showers were very nice and much more spacious than our in-room bathroom/shower. I will also note that while referred to as "shared" they are private. Each room has a shower, toilet, and sink. One perk was the hotel's text service. With a quick text you can request fresh towels, a room cleaning, or Boston recommendations. Another perk are the bars and restaurants in the area. Tremont Street has a ton of options. Cósmica, the Mexican restaurant connected to the hotel, is a great option if you're in the mood for some tacos and margaritas. Finally, the location in Back Bay/South End was pretty good. A relatively short walk to the nearest subway station.
