Winter stay was great

We had a pleasant stay in this large and very clean home.The basement was a great spot for our older boys to play while the dining/back room was great for our little one with the provided toys. The availability of a high chair and baby gate was great.The kitchen was exceptionally well appointed and included a variety of specialty appliances.The kid’s bedroom upstairs was a perfect setup for us and had an additional set of toys.Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us!

family wedding weekend

This was a great choice for 3 couple, one additional adult, and my two small grandchildren. We were particularly impressed with the children's bedroom - perfect for the two little ones, who felt very comfortable there.

Good family house

My day was great with the exception of a few small things. The coffee pot was broken so when we went to use it to poured hot coffee and liquid all over the counters. Vacasa credited me For the pot I bought as a result. Something we found pretty annoying was the Internet name given to us was incorrect so it took us two days to get the Internet up and running on our devices so working on vacation was a little tough. Also The basement smelled of cat urine even though it’s a pet free home . We had to air it out and with allergies it bothered me. There was Also two unplugged wine fridges down there would’ve been nice if they were operational. Overall check with breeze in terms of decor and size. It did have family photos everywhere which was a little new for us we’ve never seen that with a rental. Would recommend but be prepared for the cat stuff

Poor communication and lied about pass

First issue is that several months after my reservation, I received an e-mail letting me know that only 3 cars are allowed in the driveway. We had others that lived near by that would drop by and visit and this limited us. This should be clearly stated in the house description around parking. (It is even threatened that the neighbors will call the police and cars will be towed). By this time, it was too late for me to find something else. Check in states that the "owner will provide the alarm code". I called Vacasa and was told someone would call me back. NO ONE called back - we decided to go for it and the alarm was not on. 4 days later I got a text that the alarm was not on!! My biggest complaint is the lies around the beach pass. I texted immediately upon arrival Sunday that there was no beach pass. I was told someone would call me the next day. NO ONE called me. I had to call and was told that the owner had it and was going to fedex it. It did not come 2 days later. I called and was told that the just became available the week before (this is not true they go on sale starting January) and that I should just go to the beach and the owner will reimburse for tickets. (Cars get towed without pass). Multiple lies back and forth about what had been done. I finally received it on day 8/10 of my stay. here is only one bathroom upstairs for the 4 bedrooms and the shower is difficult to control (runs out of hot water- old ). TV is in the basement.

Cotuit Manor

This was our 2nd time staying here and it's perfect for everything we need. Lots and lots of space, we never even get time to spend time in some of the rooms! 10 mins down the road from our friends who own a cranberry bog so we can get there quick to help with the harvest!! Thank you again!!

Great Home for a 3 generation family

We were very pleased with the property. The home was very clean and had lots of room for our 3 generation family. The home was private in a residential neighborhood but also close to many restaurants and activities. The home was well stocked with toys for our small children and beach supplies. We would definitely rent again in the future.

One major complaint.

The house was gorgeous, spacious, and perfectly located for my trips needs. However, one major complaint I have is the parking situation at the property. The owner only allowed three vehicles to be parked at the property despite the fact that it had a massive driveway that could have easily fit ten cars. I double checked the listing and nowhere on it, did it say anything regarding this parking restriction. It was listed on the rental agreement, so it is ultimately on me for not catching it, but I feel the property owner should make that parking restriction crystal clear on the listing itself. I had several friends from different parts of New England traveling to this house and had I known about the parking situation early I never would have booked the property. We were fortunate enough to be able to find a work around for all the cars we were bringing in, but some clarity up front would have been nice.

Very spacious and clean

Had a wonderful stay and there was plenty of room for our family. Will much space to get some down time and quiet. Would recommend and even stay here again.

A Tired Property

Check In Process: Email with house code came as promised on check in day. The Email however referred to an alarm code which had to be obtained from the owner but a contained no contact details. Phone calls to Vacassa went to voice mail and after an hour an email was received directing us to the property manager. After a voice mail to the property manager, returned 30 minutes later, we were told that he only deals with the owner and that Vacassa was the one to deal with for rentals. On arrival, we found an alarm existed but was not turned on. VRBO/Vacassa should have advised as to whether the alarm was active or not or not mentioned it at all. Garbage bins, while empty, were left outside garage-not a welcoming sight No check in manual or direction sheet as to local places and no indication of where beach parking pass was located House is large and as advertised although there are 4 sleeping areas upstairs but only 1 bathroom so max number of people is deceiving as only master bedroom (2 people) on main floor and downstairs bedroom (2) people have private bath rooms. House is advertised as having two ½ baths but only one was found. There is an outdoor shower but it does not seem to qualify as a half bath. House Condition: Master bath has a tear in the ceiling where wall board should be but there is only a hole and recent evidence of what appeared to be a water leak from the bathroom above. Property Manager has not addressed repair. Master bath trash basket not emptied as garbage found in it Master bath shower handle broken. Kitchen coffee maker had used coffee grounds still in it-not emptied Wi-Fi network misnamed in check in email House is advertised as “No Pets” but there is an animal door from the house to the garage and flags all around the property advising of invisible dog fence. If renters have an allergy to cats or dogs this may not be a good rental for them if they assume the No Pets means pet free. Carpets are old and in many rooms stained and furniture downstairs very stained. Ceilings in main Floor bathrooms show water staining-unrepaired Nit Picks A professional manager should have noticed and repaired: Front porch light glass broken and no light bulb Blinds in front family room, living room and kitchen area warped or not able to be pulled up evenly Molding covering small window in front family room and window in upstairs bedroom not attached and left standing against wall-appears broken. This is a tired property

Great house-minor problems

We had a wonderful time in Cape cod. The house was spacious. Each family had its own floor which was helpful and the three relaxing spaces were also comfy and helpful. Thee kitchen was well stocked. Everything was clean. The location was also great, close to one beach, 10 minutes from another. Thanks for the parking pass. But. . . There were things that needed fixing or better directions throughout the house. We couldn’t figure out disposal or master shower. There was only one key for house. Two shelves in fridge fell out and the piece on stove for the fan fell off, as if by magic. Rugs in kids room and master deeply stained. Too many pics of owner’s family, beautiful though they may be! Some outlets didn’t work. None of these issues spoiled our time! But this is a premier house and details can be important. Thanks for asking.
