「Aménagé dans l’ancien hôpital maritime de Cherbourg, et plus spécialement dans son dispensaire, un hôtel très original et dépaysant. Ne vous attendez pas au luxe, mais l’établissement est bien tenu, les chambres spacieuses et propres, le personnel adorable et le prix attractif. Il ne manque qu’une penderie ou des portemanteaux pour que ce soit parfait. 」

「The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. A particularly nice touch was a selection of chocolates in the bedroom. Would certainly recommend...

「The host family was friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely, comfortable, and well-decorated space. A lot of thought went into the place. We had a lovely breakfast daily. The host was always available to everyone, even though they left you to rest and enjoy. The property is tranquil and peaceful, allowing you to relax. We are delighted and would gladly return; it's value for money. We loved having our French Bulldog, Triptan, stay with us. Thank You - Merci 」

"パリからの電車のトラブルでとても夜遅く到着しました。フロント以外灯りが無いくらいの時間だったので、翌朝明るい時間に景色がとても良いことに驚きました。観光案内所が近くだったので、そちらを利用しようと思っていましたが、フロントに様々なパンフレットがあり充分でした。また博物館の割引券なども取り扱っていたので助かりました。部屋の設備は新しいものでは無かったですが、バスルームもベッドルームもとても清潔に掃除されていました。お部屋のお茶が、マグカップではなくタンブラーを置いてくれていたので、チェックアウトの前にお茶を入れて散歩に行くことができました。とても寒かったので助かりました。朝食は海の見える1階のカフェでとることができます。パンもケーキもとても美味しいです。様々なスプレッドやハムやチーズがあって、とても楽しめました。"
