「It was basic but clean, bed was comfortable was ideal for what we wanted」

「Property and car park was very easy to find, had plenty of instructions on how to get to the property and gain entry well in advance Hotel itself is small and cosy room was well maintained and very clean, bed and bedding was clean and comfy and bathroom was well stocked We had a lovely stay here.」

「The host was really nice Place was old could do with abit of work very tired in places But good for a overnight stay for work」

「Fantastic property in a great location just a few minutes walk from the town. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the minute I arrived, providing me with books and information of snowdon routes ahead of my climb! Absolute 10/10 breakfast cooked by sean, again he was very accommodating providing me the option to have it earlier than the usual time so I could get up the mountain quicker. If I ever return I’ll be sure to stay here again, fantastic stay.」

「Great location, easy self check in. The whole place was clean and in good condition. Simple self service breakfast with good coffee. If there was one word of warning... if you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. Someone in the next room was an impressive snorer and I didn't have any!」

「Nicely presented property. Spacious room with a large bathroom. My room even had a small living area. Host was friendly, helpful and communicative. Town centre was a 60 second walk away.」

「We loved the 2 rooms we had here - a lot of amenities were provided in a small space. Communication and instructions for the late check in were excellent. Beds were comfy and it was quiet at night. Great locations with lots of restaurants in the close vicinity.」

「Very plain room staff are excellent. Breakfast was perfect. Dining room could be better.」

「The first morning my partner slipped & fell. Breaking his left wrist & a right elbow on which he needs a operation. There were no warnings about it may be slippy. Told owner who looked at me blankly & didn't offer any help. Had to come home two days early.」

「Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. Sian and the cleaner (so sorry I forgot her name!) we're extremely friendly and helpful, even gave me access to their mobile hot-spot and helped with local attraction advice. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service -...

「Great place, nice location, nice lady running the place. Also they have friendly cats around the area that let you pet them, close to the water. What’s not to love!!」

「Lovely property, great decor. In a beautiful spot next to the River Dee. Great seeing various boats passing by. Loved sitting out on the patio. The inside of the house has everything you could possibly need. The owner, Chris, keeps in touch to make sure you are happy with everything. Lots of lovely walks nearby, miniature railway in the park at the end of the road. Short walk into Chester. We would definitely like to go back. 」
