The primary suite is a restful retreat featuring a queen bed, TV, and a private ensuite bathroom, while a queen-over-queen bunk bed and TV in the second bedroom is perfect for families or groups. A second full bathroom in the hallway and in-unit laundry ensures convenience for all. Step onto the private patio, where sea breezes and breathtaking sunrises set the scene for relaxation.

You will know you have arrived at the perfect beachfront resort from the moment you arrive! La Concha is located in the coveted Island Retreat complex. Dotted with palm trees, this beautiful 25-acre complex has its very own beach boardwalk for easy beach access. Guests can also enjoy access to the array of amenities including 2 pools, tennis courts, pickleball courts, sprawling lawns, charcoal grills, picnic areas, and a fish cleaning station. There's even security on-site during summer months and holiday events. Right off of 11th street, in the golf cart zone, the Island Retreat complex is close to restaurants, shopping, nightlife, and many Port Aransas, TX activities!

Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.

Home Truths:
- Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval, there is a fine of $500 per pet.
- This HOA/Condo strictly prohibits pets of any kind, including Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). Service Animals, as defined by law, are permitted. If you plan to bring a Service Animal, please notify us in advance so we can inform the HOA. Important Note: If it is determined that the animal is not a certified Service Animal, eviction may occur. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
- Be sure to inquire about discounted Winter Texan/Snowbird rates and long-term stay discounts!
- Construction is always happening somewhere in Port Aransas; we can’t guarantee that you won’t hear/see construction, building, or community improvement projects and events during your stay.
- Cable/WIFI is provided as a convenience; Port A does experience outages from time to time. Services can be intermittent on an island.
- Please remember that you are on an island; mosquitos/pests can be plentiful several times per year. Our properties are treated by professional pest control service every 4-8 weeks.
- Please note that the maximum occupancy includes infants and babies. Ensure that the total number of guests, including little ones, adheres to the specified occupancy limit.
- Guests can rent a golf cart from Coastal Eds! We encourage you to book the golf cart with Coastal Eds as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee availability if you choose to delay booking.
- This unit includes an in-unit washer/dryer. Washers and Dryers coin laundry are in the complex and available for guest use.
- Guests must be 25 years or older to book this home. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by an adult. Per HOA rules, any group without someone 25 years or older present is subject to eviction.

Parking Details:
- Parking passes required. 2 parking passes provided per condo.
- There is no assigned parking, so you can park anywhere within the complex.
- Boat parking is allowed in designated areas.
- Golf cart parking is allowed in designated area (you must purchase a separate pass).

Accidental Damage Protection: A non-refundable accidental damage protection plan has been included in the price of your reservation. Under this plan, you will not be held responsible to pay for accidental damage or loss to the rental property resulting from you or others in your party up to $2000. This plan does not cover intentional acts of a guest, gross negligence, or willful and wanton conduct, and/or damages caused by pets. This plan is not available for reservations 28 days or longer or reservations that require a security deposit.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit.

Location was great, easy beach access. We arrived a few hours early and were challenged to figure out early access (the condo was ready for occupancy, but access code would not work until 4:00 pm.) We did get help and got in by 3:00pm. Condo seemed clean. Over the two weeks we were there, we found five roach type insects on the floors and rugs, one was over an inch long. The kitchen lacked a colander, knives and cutting boards in poor condition. The corkscrew was a flimsy joke that bent and broke without being able to open a wine bottle. Master bath had large glass shower doors but no squeegee to clean them after use, also one of them leaked at the bottom where the gasket was inadequate. Second bath had a non-functional body wash container. The TV in the master bedroom indicated it was hooked to the internet but no content was available. We had a good stay, but the roaches really freaked us out!

First time to Port Aransas

We loved Port Aransas ! Our stay was marred by the frigid cold January of 2025 but that couldn't be helped . Our stay at Island Retreat was very comfortable and clean. We never needed anything it was perfect . We will be back . Thank you!

Beautiful and Comfortable Condo

My two friends and I were so impressed by our beautiful and cozy retreat. We loved the tasteful and relaxing decor - blue-gray walls with neutral and navy accents. The finishes were very nice, and the place was very well maintained. It appeared to us to have been recently renovated. It was just gorgeous! We had everything we needed, and the unit was clean. Every thing was in working order, except the stopper for the master bathroom sink was missing, but that wasn’t a big deal. The property was quiet, and our neighbors were friendly. Parking was available right by our front door, and the beach was just a short walk away across the dunes on the wooden walkway. Great location for getting to places in Port Aransas. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Loved it!
