"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Lovely large house. Clean, and comfortable. Perfect for the beach, local restaurants, and local town. As it is the end of the season, not all amenities were open but there was definitely enough. The beach is amazing, you can walk for miles. This is a quiet location, and fairly hidden away so a car would be advised, but there is a bus stop just around the corner. We took our dog with us, and the garden was lovely and safe, no chance of her escaping. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, very comfortable beds. Everything supplied was of excellent quality. The house is very well looked after. The hosts were also amazing. We were met by the owners parents, who spoke very little English, probably about the same amount as our very poor French, however we got through with Google translate, had some fun with that, then they met us again on our departure. Thank you so much for a lovely stay. "

"We traveled as a family group 6 adults and 2 children we were welcomed by David, great location so near the beach local seafood was excellent, we had a problem with a leak on the spa, contacted the host who came and repaired it, excellent service."
