Number one thing that we loved about Bacau Resort are the staff. They are very friendly and accommodating. They know how to handle and take care with their customers. The rooms were clean and cozy. Although the room service food was slightly disappointing, overall we would still highly recommend this.

First off the staff are amazing always friendly and attentive particularly Deo. Breakfast is not four star very limited choices nothing international in anyway and always stone cold in the seven days we were there. Wifi a complete joke non existent even after being given the code for the admin wifi this should be a priority as the Hotel is in a complete dead spot for cellular signal for both smart and globe had to go into town to download boarding passes for return to manila, rooster in the village over the wall directly behind the bedrooms wakes you at 3am and dogs constantly barking. Towels to take on a day trip 150 pesos to hire i can understand a deposit so return but never been charged before. Plus point the sunsets from the pier are amazing

Amazing stay!!

Had an amazing stay!! Highly recommend. The dock/bar area for guests was absolutely breathtaking for sunset views. Loved the daily sweet treats in the room too. The staff also decorated my mom’s room for her birthday. Another wonderful surprise and made her feel so special. Thank you!!

We had a lovely time at Bacau Bay! The staff were excellent- very warm and welcoming. The property itself was very quiet, romantic, relaxing. We really had the best time! Will be coming back next year!

The staffs esp. housekeeping crew were amazing-good work ethics. The pool is heated and clean. We really enjoyed our meals in their restaurant, buffet and sit down. We loved this place.

Staff were great. Pretty hotel. Could use a-bit of maintenance on the grounds. Chairs on the balconies would have been nice. Wifi not good in the room. Loved the pool and sunsets on the dock

Good location, rooms and staff

Really good hotel, clean, good breakfast, sunset and happy hour at the pier is amazing. Breakfast is good. Family friendly. Activities for kids 3pm-4pm and movie night on Fridays. Some maintenance to do in the rooms but really good value quality for the price. I read the reviews before and i was préparé but a good gem in Coron. I can only confirm that the waiting time at the restaurant is very long. I recommend ordering before and then ask them to call you at the pool or room when it’s ready at the dining room.

I was happy when the manager gave me a room upgrade. The staffs are very helpful and courteous. I don’t like swimming pool without heat and some worm get into the pool.

This place is a beautiful place to stay because of the great Staff that make it even more special. ( shout out and huge thanks to Darlene,Ryan, Leah, Jonalyn, Megan and Aiza) 😀 Property had good amenities from the pool, activity center, and a great place to watch the sunset while drinking your favoriite drink. The only thing that they could probably improved on was their internet connection. It was very weak although it may be a blessing in disguise in a way since it really made our vacation more a bonding time rather than focus on our devices! Surely added to the joys and great memories we will treasure and look back regarding our vacation in Coron.

Excellence in Coron

Had a great time at the Bacau Resort. It's a brand new hotel. Opened in mid March, 2019. Very professional and nice staff all over the property, from check in to check out. Front desk always checking up on us, housekeeping top notch, and restaurant staff excellent. This must be one of the best hotels in the Palawan region, and definitely the best hotel in Coron. About 30 minutes from the airport, shuttle bus can be ordered from the hotel. 350 pesos per person. 10 minutes from the port in Coron town. Easy access to tricycle and scooter rental just outside the gate. I'll be back in the future, thanks again :)

The staff were friendly upon check in. The pool area looked a lot bigger in the photos. Our room had mold in the ceiling and our shower was so clogged that when we took a shower the water went into the hallway. The staff tried to fix it but couldn’t so we showered like that during our stay. The restaurant food takes forever and on our first night I got food poisoning. I would not recommend this hotel but definitely recommend coron the island. It’s so beautiful and surreal. I would just choose a different hotel next time.

The hotel is good, nothing special or extraordinary but well. The best of this hotel is the staff, they are very kindly. Only thing bad was in our 1st tour island hopping, the guide charge us $300 per every place that we visit. Later I noticed that same places charged less money and he got our money for 3 people with $300 each for each place. In the other hand he took us to the easiest places to him to get there, not to the more beautiful places that I request. His name was Marlon. I noticed of this tour guide to the staff when I did the check out, I don’t know if they take any action but that was very dishonest and we felt a deception.

Beautiful resort

This is a very nice tropical resort with a calming feel. The pool is beautiful and the staff is very attentive and kind. The food is amazing. Some of the best fries I’ve ever had and the pizza was superb!! The breakfast buffet was wonderful and had many options. The prices were very reasonable as well. They also offer room service. The staff was constantly cleaning the grounds and were available for any requests. The room and bed was comfortable. The TV was very small. Upon arrival I had to ask housekeeping to come and clean the floors and the shower. The floors had some spots maybe from food and hairs in the shower. The water only got lukewarm. Wi-Fi was very spotty. There was a rooster that was making sounds all hours of the night. I was constantly waking up. It wasnt typical bc it was not just making sounds at Dawn. Coron is a remote island so I think all this is expected. Perhaps I should have done more research but there are no beaches accessible from this property. U have to take a tricycle to go to a beach which is not impressive. Basically u need to take a boat tour to see any beaches. The town is nicer than El Nido but for me the surrounding islands of El Nido are nicer. Thank you to the lovely staff for making my stay feel safe and relaxed.

My room had multiple spots of black mold growing on the sitting couch, window blinds and all through the shower area (see pics). I felt unsafe to sit on the couch as a result. Poor wifi signal that cut in and out every minute or two. Safe had dead batteries and so I wasn't able to use it. Housekeeping left my door ajar by extending the dead bolt so when I came back that evening anyone could have entered my room by just pushing the door. But truly the worst part was the roosters located just a few feet from my door that would start crowing around 3:30 AM and not stop! I didn't get a good night sleep here and even tried stuffing an extra towel under the door and covering the windows with the towels for extra sound dampening. Additionally, I received a message from the property telling me the dock area would be closed until September 29, 2024. I thought that would be fine because I was visiting in November. But alas I arrive and construction was not completed so I had no access to the beach, water, or to watch the sunset. At a minimum they should have alerted us to the continued closure before I arrived so I could have changed my reservation to a property that had beach access as that was one of the reasons I chose this location. So not sure if that was an oversight or an intentional ploy to not have cancelations affect their profits. For two days the pool bar was out of Mango and Pineapple which seemed crazy as I could walk down the street and get it -- frustrating.

Breakfast buffet was delicious. Chef made homemade Filipino breakfast. Staff were very attentive from receptionist to drivers. Csmn goes above and beyond in the house restaurant. Erika gave an amazing Hilot massage. Maintenance staff responded right away when there were technical problems with the AC and safe box. Love the happy hour at the pier with spectacular view of the bay. There was construction in many areas of the resort hence I took off one star for cleanliness of the property.
