We arrived on Sat., June 10th. The decks were all covered in sand even at the front entrance. The stair railings were covered in dust. The carpet throughout the house was dirty. The main gathering room/kitchen/master suite was on the top floor. The air conditioner did not work. On Sunday, a service man came out, and could not fix the ac. Later that day, 2 window units were brought out and a floor cooler that took ice. Those 3 "ACs" did not cool the rooms. My husband & I could hardly walk into the bedroom during the day without sweating. The repairmen were out all day Thursday, June 15th. Our whole day was disrupted. When the unit was started, it blew black particles all over the dining table, our clothing, our computer, the bed. We could not find a vacuum. We had to ask the servicemen if we could borrow their shop vac.
The jacuzzi in the master suite did not work. The ice makers in the 2 fridges did not work. The sheets for all the king beds were too small and came off the mattresses. The towels were paper thin. The list goes on and on.
My family and I have stayed in several rentals for our family vacations/reunions. We have never had a bad experience until this trip. I feel when I pay this much money, the property owner/manager should make sure the customer has a very pleasant, memorable experience. My family & I will not be returning to this particular house. The beach is amazing. Can't say the same for the house
