Outer Banks Trip

The house was very clean. We had a very relaxing time. Even though there were a few rainy days we were still able to use the pool and enjoy a few golf games.

Great House!!

We had an amazing week at this property. The house was massive, and the listing was very accurate. The pool was amazing (we were advised however there was a slow leak by the pool guy- so we had to add a little water). The views of the sound and the ocean were breathtaking. We have stayed in this community in past years, and love the fact that it is a gated neighborhood. The only issue that we encountered was only a couple of the lounge chairs by the pool were of a thinner plastic material ( clearly they are replacing these with more sturdy wooden chairs). Just 2 of these chairs failed as we used them due to the fact that they were weathered.All in all, I would highly recommend this property and would re book in the future!!!!

We enjoyed our stay in Corolla. Check in was easy. Kitchen was well equipped. The elevator was very helpful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The pool was very nice! We were disappointed that the mattresses were not comfortable especially in the master on main floor. Very hard on the backs! The shared tub/shower on the 3rd floor did not drain well. The lock on the slider door on the bottom floor did not work. The overall cleanliness of the porches especially the front and lower back porch could have been better, too many spiders & webs, so we didn't get in the hot tub. The house overall was very nice, and the community is great! We would like to know that these few things are corrected before we would stay here again.

Not too happy with rental service

The house was very nice. It could’ve been cleaner. There was a lot of trash left underneath the bed and TV stands. Initial day, We noticed the toilet broken in the basement and the toilet seat cover broken upstairs. We called and emailed and were promised to have somebody there that day. Nobody showed up until the next day. We were going to use the grill on Friday however the propane tank was empty. I called left three messages and emailed three times but nobody ever came out to put a new propane tank. No one even answered our email or called us back. Very disappointed. Part of our weekly bill was to have the amenities.

There were many first times on this visit to OBX. First time with Village Realty and first time in Currituck Club. We had issues and repairs first day. The Fix It Form worked perfect. Next morning repair people came and made it right. Thank you. The house was not as we expected. We have stayed at least 15 years in OBX. The house needs to be upgraded and cleaned. The kitchen: dishes were in dishwasher, bottom section of double oven did not work, the glass kitchen table was really dirty, the kitchen counter tops were dirty, the washer made terrible sounds and needed to keep door closed it was so loud, the door walking in front entrance has all kinds of bugs and webs around it and the pool was dirty from day one, the pool was never cleaned and has sand and bugs all the time. We never saw the pool guy plus there were at least 8 frogs in the hot tub filter drawer. The hot tub did not have chemicals in the water The house ledges were dirty. We know it will not be perfect but there was no TLC and it showed.
