The Hotel is very well situated. Close to the bus stop, a market and few restaurants. But it needs renovation and they need to improve their housekeeping. The towels are old and some with holes. The breakfast is ok with limited options, and the coffee tastes terrible.

very clean hotel and very welcoming staff. The location is great and the pool was really refreshing. the view over the airport was fun and great to see the sunsets. a relaxed vibe all round and just a good spot. The staff were very helpful. The aircon was a delight as well! Breakfast was a little lacking in the selection - for a vegan there is a limited choice, but the onsite Skybar has a great selection of food and drinks for all times. Plus the view is amazing.

Reception staff are amazing and very helpful. They upgraded my room on arrival when they learned that I like to watch the planes land at the airport. The room was comfortable although looking tired in places. Thankfully the A/C worked really well in the heat keeping the room nice and cool.

The hotel has some positives, including a nice outdoor area with a pool and a convenient location with nice cafe bars near by walking distance. However, our overall experience was disappointing. One thing to be aware of is the noise. The hotel is very close to the airport, and planes were constantly taking off and landing directly in front of the pool area, making it difficult to relax. More concerning was the cleanliness. Several areas of the hotel felt dirty and poorly maintained. There was a strong septic or sewage-like odor throughout parts of the property, especially in the elevator, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. Our room also did not feel as clean as expected. The coffee and tea station in the room was particularly disappointing. The area appeared dirty, and the exposed tea bags gave the impression that items were not being properly replaced between guests. Also the bathroom was outdated making it difficult to use due to appliances poor condition. Unfortunately, while the location and pool were nice, the issues with noise, cleanliness, and odors made this stay fall short of expectations. Would not recommend.

We arrived to find we had only one bed even though we had requested two twins. The man at the desk was apologetic and polite and eventually arranged for a cot to be put in the room. The breakfast is really quite nice and the room itself was okay but a bit noisy with the runway close by and the fridge in the room squawked and squeaked.

I had expected a bit more from this hotel, and I was honestly a little disappointed. I chose it as a gift for my partner, hoping for a slightly higher standard, but the room didn’t quite live up to my expectations. The door and shower weren’t working properly, and the noise from the planes taking off right outside made it hard to relax. That said, the surrounding area is quite charming, with a small beach within walking distance and a lovely little church nearby. If you love planes and enjoy plane spotting, this is probably the perfect place. But unfortunately, it wasn’t the right fit for us.

I liked the fact that the hotel wasn’t far from both Corfu’s old town, which is the city center, and the airport. Both locations were at easy reach by using the public bus line 2A which has a bus stop almost in front of the hotel. One of the reasons why I chose to book rooms at this hotel was because it has a swimming pool, though once getting there I discovered that the swimming pool is not well maintained or cleaned, showing yellow dirt marks around all the walls of the pool and loose wood tiles on the deck area. About the several things that left us dissatisfied with our stay: there were power-cuts several times during our stay, when the hotel had no light or energy for a couple of minutes. Some days the water on the shower didn’t get warm at all and was quite cold, so it was difficult to take showers. On 2 days of our 5 night stay our room hasn’t been cleaned at all, though we left the hotel early in the morning, only came back at night and left the door tag in front our room door indicating it should be cleaned. In one of the nights, a couple who was staying in one of the hotel rooms started fighting and banging on walls and furnitures, the fight was so loud that it could be heard across one full wing of the property and it took a while until the security staff resolved the issue. Lastly, the breakfast buffet was quite poor in options and in how the food tasted.

I was extremely disappointed with the Royal hotel! Very very expensive for what you get. It's far from the town center, nothing around you either have to get the bus or taxi. And the worse is the NOISE OMG the hotel is next to the take off platform at the airport! constant horrible noise! The staff were lovely but will never book again. Run down pool area, dirty loungers.
