Great stay for our family. It was a large space for our family to spread out and relax/play board games. Easy access to the Wrangell-St Elias Visitor Center and Gulkana airport for flight-seeing tours. Hope to stay again and highly recommend. Mark C.

This property is in a gorgeous log cabin home, which we found out was built by the owners themselves. The rental portion of the house is on the bottom floor. It is very spacious with two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a separate living room area. The four of us traveling together had plenty of room to spread out. We didn’t want for anything. Everything we needed for an exceptional night stay was provided. Including TWO coffee makers for those who want their coffee right NOW. My communications, back and forth, with Luann were excellent. Especially considering that I first contacted her last December when we started planning this trip. If you are planning a trip to Wrangell St Elias National Park or the Copper Center/Glenallen area in general, I would highly recommend the Sawing Logzz B & B as THE place to rest your head.

Great Stay!

We booked last minute but the hosts were amazing and immediately communicative. We had a whole downstairs suite with two rooms and a kitchenette and it was very welcoming and comfortable. We loved every minute of it and would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

A Gem in the Wilderness

This is my second time staying here. The folks are great and the accommodations are spectacular! If you're driving from Anchorage to McCarthy...this is a great place to stay and break up the long drive. Plus...you're only minutes from Grizzly Pizza you may have seen on TV!

Sawinglogzz is an awesome place! The owners are amazingly kind and thoughtful. The accommodations fit our needs completely and the space is more than enough. We only stayed one night, so hopefully we can go back in the future!

We had a fantastic 1 night stay before heading to the Wrangell St Elias Visitor Center (few minutes drive). It’s a great starting spot for driving the McCarthy road. The rooms were perfect. The hosts were wonderful and offered great advice for things to do and places to eat. Their house is beautiful!
