"Property has incredible views from every angle. House overall is very nice, clean and unique but entire house can use an upgrade. Gated community so we felt safe. The fishing spot is beautiful. I must mention that the property stairs to get to house are very steep and would not work for elderly (carrying luggage and other items was a workout for sure). We had an issue with the water pump and went without water for almost 24 hours! After pump was fixed, water pressure was extremely bad and felt like we were showering for hours as we were only getting drops of water. Master shower was completely out after pump issue (hottest bathroom in entire house). Kitchen is completely open air so cooking/eating we were drenched in sweat. Make sure you bring bug spray because mosquitoes will eat you alive."

"We had an amazing 10 days at villa encantata. The staff was very attentive and the food was good. The location is across the bay from las gatos and la Ropa beaches but we took taxis and water taxis around each day for different experiences.This villa has a beautiful common area and a very good pool. Best suited for 4 couples. We had a 5th couple in the garden room which wasn’t as nice as the others but would be great for kids"
