"The property is beautiful. We hiked and did tourist things during the day. Played in the beautiful pool to cool off in the afternoon. Went and ate at Eo restaurant which was recommended by the host. We did rent a car to get around our last two days. Fantastic time!"

"It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Livia’s Villa is, so I’ll offer this comment from a friend who arrived first: “It’s like stepping into a dream.” 15 of us traveled from the US and a few points in Amsterdam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. No one wanted to leave.The property is gorgeous, Livia is an exceptional host, the town and many amenities are close by, and Nonna Maria’s dinner on the first night was wonderful. We’d absolutely come back and are already planning our trip! "

"Nice property in a great location BUT..The pool and immediate area were unusable. The pool was full of Stagnant green water complete with resident 'wildlife'. The villa was very cold and attempts to warm up were difficult due to poor electrics. The system continually 'tripped' if we had more than half the appliances on. We did learn to live with this by the 3rd day, but we shouldn't have to. We really should have been able to have a shower with a heater on or boil a kettle without having to turn...

"Lovely stay in Villa Azzura, we will always remember our mornings in the balcony, drinking our Italian coffee and having the best toast with orange marmelade, offered by our host, Antonio. He made it himself out of the oranges from the garden! Very nice gazebo outside. The place is large, clean, welcoming and it remained in our hearts!"

"The accommodation was very clean. The pool was beautiful and perfect to enjoy in the heat. Remember to bring pool towels. The bbq is a charcoal grill so you need to buy charcoal. You definitely require a car as the nearest grocery store is a few kilometers up the hill. The local market wasn’t open yet in June. There is only 1 cafe and restaurant in walking distance. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. The kitchen dishes could be refreshed as the hard water from the dishwasher causing...

"This beautiful beach house is in a beautiful part of Sicily—close enough to Sciacca for groceries and services, but at the same time, with the feel of a remote corner of the island. Easy travel to Menfi, Agrigento, and Saliunte, this is the perfect location to explore southwestern Sicily. Everything in the house works well, and the place is immaculate."

Close to wonderful beach town of Castellammare del Golfo and boat outings. We recommend a trip to Elios Winery. Close to Palermo airport. Definitely need your own car."
