We booked last minute since we arrived to Carcassonne earlier than expected. The hostess graciously accepted our booking and made us feel exceedingly welcome. The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast was lovingly prepared and ready at the time we chose. It was so much more than we could eat with artisanal bread, croissants, fresh chopped fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and 3 HOME MADE jams, which we devoured. Complimentary parking within the gated yard made it even better. The little town is adorable. Please consider this as a great alternative to staying in the city. While it was only minutes away, it was a world apart. The rates are more than reasonable for what we got…which was a genuine connection in a beautiful place. Exactly what we needed after a tough day of driving. We could not recommend higher. We are filled with gratitude to have experienced this warm couple and their phenomenal hospitality.
