Beautiful location and home!

The pictures of this place don't do it justice! Beautiful, clean home in an amazing location. Quiet area in nature, but only a short drive to restaurants and groceries. The owner, Bill, responded quickly to any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay great. Our crew included our very mobile 1 year old, 5 year old, my husband, and in-laws and we had more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable! We would definitely stay here again if we visited this area!

Beautiful mountain experience

The house was a fantastic home base for two concerts at Red Rocks (25-30 minutes) and a day trip to Boulder (50 minutes). We even lucked out and experienced a sweet local fair in Conifer/Aspen Park with crafts, food and drinks and live music. The house was spacious and comfortable. We loved the huge deck and enjoyed the hummingbirds during the day and amazing stargazing at night. We grilled food two nights on the little Weber grill. Very easy to get in and out. Driving on 285 to and from Red Rocks and Boulder was a pretty intense mountain drive and the drive up the mountain to 8900 feet is not for the faint of heart, so you probably want an SUV any time of year. An awesome, authentic Colorado mountain experience.

Christopher Cabin has EVERYTHING you need!

We had a wonderful stay in Christopher Cabin. We booked it for a resting spot after a concert at Red Rocks. We stayed about a week and appreciated that the house had EVERYTHING needed for a relaxing stay. It has beautiful mountain views from the deck. We started and ended our days on the expansive deck.

Family stay

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The space was sufficient for 3 couples, each with their own bathroom. Beds were comfortable, each covered in a down comforter. The kitchen was filled with all kinds of little extras that were much appreciated. Air purifiers in the bedrooms were also appreciated by those of us not used to dry, higher elevations. The owners were helpful and very responsive. While we didn’t see a lot of wildlife, the bird watching was great. If you don’t like driving switchbacks, you’ll need to make sure you’re home before dark.

Spacious and clean

Beautiful house and property. House is very clean, great supplies (kitchen, coffee, games, bathroom etc.) for our comfort and the check out list is VERY reasonable. Love the large capacity washing machine and the patio decks. The husband LOVES this house. These next things aren't cons, just to be aware of. This is a mountain house on a winding mountain road where ....there is deer, parts with no rails, blind turns and no lighting at night. Husband was fine driving, I was not at night. Also, there are no curtains on the windows. We had a very comfortable stay.

Beautiful house and views!!!

We had an amazing family week! The house had everything we needed to cook (lots of food issues in our family) all of our meals, plenty of space for all of us to spread out and relax (3 living rooms) and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Beautiful view on the deck with great seating and a fire table for late night hang outs under the stars. The neighborhood was super quiet and the property is basically a forest. The hosts have lots of thoughtful touches all around the house. Cozy throw blankets in every room, cool vinyl selection and turntable downstairs, decks of cards and board games, and interesting books. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!!!
