Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Sacheen Lake

Cozy Lakefront Cottage on Sacheen Lake

10/10 Excellent
"How soon can I go back? I can't say enough about this lake house. We hung out on the dock for hours, and when the breeze picked up we hung out on the top deck of the cabin instead--it's protected from wind by trees. When one day it started raining, we moved to the lower deck, which is sheltered by the top deck. Any one of those spots would make the cabin worthwhile, but being able to move between the three takes it to the next level. Meg and Wes were incredible hosts, responsive within minutes when we texted. The bed was super cozy and the house is better stocked than any vacation rental I've been to. We loved our time there."

Muncton Mountain Lodge

Muncton Mountain Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Our group of nine female veterans spent four days at this beautiful property, and it was an exceptional retreat experience. The man‑made waterfall quickly became a favorite spot—peaceful, calming, and a perfect backdrop for reflection. Inside, the décor featuring various animal mounts kept us guessing and added a fun, unique touch to the home. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and well‑suited for a group our size. The host was kind, responsive, and accommodating. When the power went out briefly, I was able to reach her right away, and she immediately provided backup candles. Fortunately, the outage lasted only about twenty minutes. We enjoyed daily walks along the long driveway, watched a family of turkeys come in to feed, and spent time observing the horses grazing in the pasture below. The entire setting offered a peaceful, restorative environment—exactly what we hoped for.All in all, it was a wonderful and serene getaway. We would definitely return."
