"This is a unique and peaceful property. We stay here when we visit our college daughter. It's a short commute (15 minutes or so) into Iowa City. The owners are easy to communicate with and responsive."

"We didn't realize that this home was built for veterans... a place for them to unwind, hunt, fish, and to enjoy their families and each other. The setting is beautiful with wide open space, a pond, walking areas, and is very tranquil. The home has two living areas and kitchens - perfect for large families - but very simple... almost humbling, knowing its true purpose. We (eight 61-69 yo siblings & spouses) definitely enjoyed our stay!"

"We had a wonderful time at the cabin! It was clean, cozy, and charming, with lots of unique antique pieces throughout the space. The hosts were also very friendly and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay!"
