"Perfect location for solitude and nature while still close to UVA, Monticello, and convenience shopping. Walked the trail to the creek and enjoyed the fire pit. Great dinner at Sedona (Tap House?) in Charlottesville and visited Monticello. Would definitely stay again. Cozy and quiet location. Easy check-in. Convenient."

"What a wonderful place. My wife and I had a great stay with our teenage grandsons. The accommodations were perfect. Property is right on the James River and we had a great time wading, swimming, and fishing in it. Brought back memories from my younger years. Lots of animals and so close to the town of Scottsville. The hosts were fantastic and we really enjoyed chatting with them. It felt like family staying here.Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful place with us."
