The place was as advertised and very comfortable. Enjoyed the Weber grill and patio. The spacious kitchen was definite plus. We would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if the front door had a “peep hole”. The wrenches sticking out by the patio door were kind of dangerous.

Hidden Gem

We loved this place. It was clean, stocked with essential equipment and soaps. Upon arriving we were confused as we were expecting a house style but the inside has an eclectic vibe. The metals and concrete art were so cool and interesting! We loved finding cool new details every day we were there. Would stay here again!

Week long vacation

Very nice 2+1 property adjacent to a very nice restaurant, bar and grill. Property was clean with a well equipped kitchen. Backyard had a nice Weber grill, outdoor dining table and a corn hole set. We really enjoyed the stay for 7 nights. Property is very close to downtown Colorado City, Old Town Colorado City, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak only 20mins from airport. Johnny was very accommodating throughout our stay and I would stay again!

Property Description

Upon arrival and unloading all of our items, the first thing I did was turn on the TV. I'm a freelance contributor for hockey, and there was no cable. Although advertised as Satellite/Cable. Johnny's response was he cancelled cable because it was too expensive. He did offer $50 to go to a bar close by, but we don't drink. We asked for a refund and left the next morning. After a week and frustrating communication with VRBO, the partial refund was received, although Johnny stated it would be a full refund. There were also kernels of food (cat or dog) on the desk and floor, which our dog found and ate. There were ants on the bathroom floor. The patio was dirty and we felt unsafe, as there were creepy neighbors on the second floor deck leering at us in the evening. Would not consider staying here again. If you want to see some daylight, this would not be the place.

Amazing!

Loved everything about our stay, house was in a great location, and the decor was awesome. As a welder/fabricator I loved all the metal artwork, and the kids loved all of it as well especially the patio. Wish we had more time, we’re looking forward to staying here again!

The house is so well done and unique! Loved the deck and large kitchen. And contrary to it’s in town location, it was very quiet and safe! Comfy beds allowed us to have many Sweet Dreams! Thanks Johnny! We will be back!

Was very pleased with the accommodations, close to where we needed to go but not too busy. Perfect!

we liked the rustic look and was impressed by the imagination of the decor. we also did use the outside grill and the cornhole. Would recommend and use again if we had another chance. we had a very pleasant stay.

Unique place with all of the comforts of home

Really enjoyed our stay of two nights here. The place was clean, roomy, and had everything we needed. The only suggestions are that the keypad on the door lock was a bit touchy, and we had to ask for the access code. It would be nice to have had it supplied in the check in information section.

Thank you so much for the amazing stay! The location couldn’t be more perfect. It is close to all the sites Colorado Springs and the surrounding area has to offer. It was very spacious and had everything we needed. The beds are comfy and the air conditioning felt so good after long hot days. We loved the art work! If we head back up your way we will definately stay again.

Great time

Property was in a great location to easy access to everything! Very clean, had all the amenities. Only disappointed in the restaurant right next to it closedown just weeks before we were there and we were planning on eating and drinking there several nights during our stay. Especially since both places were owned by the same person. However, owners had information to several other great restaurants in the area that was helpful.

Great Place!
