Normally I only book at chain hotels but I decided to try and save some money. The property is old however fairly well maintained. The pool looked well maintained. The rooms were dated but very clean. Breakfast was slim pickings, adding bananas would be nice. Overall, no frills hotel. Clean and wonderful location.

This was a clean room with a comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and courteous. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. One suggestion I would make is to NOT peel the hard-boiled eggs. I would visit this hotel again.

when I booked I failed to mention my difficulties with stairs and upper levels. I travel alone and have respiratory difficulties. The staff was very helpful and friendly about changing my room to a lower level and closer to my parked car. thank you silver saddle staff. you made my stay perfect.

Great location for what we needed. An old style traditional American motel: half-circle layout, parking in front of your room, pool in the middle of parking lot; Simply dated, but very well kept and clean; I was surprised how long (early and late) the reception was actually staffed; quite reasonable breakfast. TV set-up allowed us to watch FIFA World Cup. Would stay again.

I needed a jumping off point to explore Manitou Springs and honestly this place was perfect. It is a little outside of downtown but maybe a 2 or 3 minute drive. The staff was super helpful and welcoming and the breakfast was a great perk before leaving and checking out the area. I would highly recommend.
