About this property

Iconic Colorado Experience / Getaway: Hot Tub, Sauna & Mountain View, 43 acres

  • Historic Mountain Retreat at Eagle Ridge

Escape to your private mountain retreat at Eagle Ridge, where rustic charm meets modern comfort.

This stunning handcrafted 360 sq ft cabin, nestled on a gated 43-acre estate, offers breathtaking panoramic views of Pikes Peak and access to forest and meadow trails. It is the perfect place to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, or simply enjoy a personal retreat surrounded by the beauty of Colorado.

Step into a cabin that blends the warmth of history with thoughtful modern amenities.

Built in the 1890s with 12-inch thick walls and exquisite handcrafted woodwork, this cozy home immediately makes you feel relaxed and at ease.

Outside, a spacious covered patio overlooks forest, meadows, and the village of Divide. The restored pioneer wagon is perfect for photos against the dramatic backdrop of Pikes Peak. Wildlife is abundant, including deer, rabbits, owls, and occasional elk, creating a truly immersive natural experience.

Unwind in your cedar barrel sauna, soak in the Arctic Spa hot tub — completely replaced with fresh water for every guest — or gather around the fire pit for a peaceful evening under the stars. Play a friendly game of horseshoes or simply relax in the Adirondack rockers while sipping coffee, tea, or wine. Every moment here encourages you to slow down and savor the mountain setting. If you are planning on riding ATVs in the nearby National Forest, there is ample space and secure parking for your ATV trailer.

The cabin’s fully equipped kitchen includes a gas stove, oven, microwave, full-size refrigerator, Nespresso coffee maker, water filter, dishes, utensils, and cookware, along with a year-round BBQ grill for preparing delicious meals.

The queen captain’s bed and full-size futon provide comfortable sleeping options for your group, and you can choose from soft or firm pillows for your ideal night’s rest. Premium linens, duvet covers, mattress protectors, and pillow protectors ensure a clean and cozy sleeping experience.

Almost all guests love the very comfortable bed. However, if you need an extra soft bed mattress, please request the extra soft mattress topper prior to your arrival.

A smart TV gives you access to hundreds of internet channels and streaming apps, and you can screen share from your own devices to watch your favorite shows or movies.

The many large windows provide natural ventilation, keeping the cabin cool in summer. At our altitude, air conditioning is not needed or required.

Fall and winter are especially magical, with brilliant autumn colors, gentle snowfall, and warm seasonal décor throughout November and December. Roads to and around the property are always maintained and plowed for easy access with two- or four-wheel drive vehicles.

While there are other homes on the property, your cabin is completely private with its own entrance, patio, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and parking. Trails and meadows are shared only with the owners or a small number of other guests, giving you the perfect balance of peace, privacy, and security. Guests love that the cabin feels tucked away while still offering a welcoming, maintained estate environment.

After booking, you can request our detailed tour guidebook, which includes over 50 attractions nearby, including restaurants, scenic drives, hiking trails, and seasonal activities. During ski season, enjoy an early breakfast at the cabin and reach Breckenridge ski area by opening time for a full day on the slopes.
