Villa Rosa offers the perfect retreat to enjoy a relaxing Lake Como getaway in complete luxury and privacy. The villa affords majestic lake views from its private balcony and terrace. The villa's spacious gardens provide ample space for families or groups to enjoy complete privacy and relaxation overlooking the shores lake of Como.

The property features two bedrooms and bathrooms located on entry level with internal and external stairs to access the generous living room, kitchen, balcony and terrace-pool garden level

Air conditioning, wifi, private pool, private garage are all included for added convenience.

The home offers a haven for relaxation nestled above the village of Colonno located directly next to the greenway 7k walkway, a much loved route enjoyed by hiking enthusiasts, to explore the lake from Colonno to Griante, taking in many of the villages and historic villas situated on the sought after western coast of the lake. Here in the village of Colonno you can access the lake and local beach as well as local bar and mini market.
The ferry to access popular villages from Menaggio to Bellagio as well as the charming city of Como, can be reached within 5 minutes drive of the property. Car hire is recommended to get the very most from your stay and all reach all parts of Como, the vineyards north of the lake, Milan, Switzerland (including outlet shopping in Foxtown and nearby Lugano) however a bus service is available here in the village of Colonno for shorter trips to neighbouring villages. Argegno, another neighbouring village of Colonno, is popular with holidaymakers looking to soak up local lake village life and enjoy a cappuccino, aperitif, lunch or dinner on one of the many restaurants and bars dotted around the lakeside and piazza-especially popular of a weekend when cyclists descend upon the village for some well earned refreshment.
The pretty village of Sala Comacina with it's idyllic lake front, park and beach is located just a few minutes drive from the home and Musa, the recently opened 5 star hotel, restaurant and spa resort can also be found for a touch of lakeside luxury just a few minutes walk from our villa as well as the lido beach of Sala Comacina.

"This area is less well known but is a hidden gem away from the crowds. Beautifully furnished, spacious rooms, quiet, relaxing and tranquil. And a private garden with stunning views and your own pool. Fantastic. I took advantage of being on the Greenway to walk to nearby attractions including Musa, the beach, and local bars around Sala Comacina. The other way took me up into the hills above Argegno. This is a great base for discovering the magic of Lago di Como"
