Clean and quiet, but frustrating.
Our contact, Natasha, was kind and communicative and gave us all the info we needed to access the property easily. She also gave us ideas for dinners and dates, thank you!
The inside of the property was clean, and the decor was beautiful.
We enjoyed the hot tub, which worked wonderfully and felt amazing. (Unplug the lights to avoid nighttime bugs.)
But we had some issues with our stay.
While the decor was beautiful, the beds were very rigid. The only bed we could both sleep in had a fold-out frame and we could feel the bars through the mattress. We slept poorly and woke up feeling stiff on both days.
The door to the washer and dryer was broken and upon my wife pulling it open, the whole thing popped out and fell on her.
And the thing that really frustrated us was that the home was listed as "Lovers Lake View" and is said to "Overlook Placid Lake". It does not. It may be downstream of the lake, but the water doesn't even come over by the property, if it does, it is so buried in brush and grass that it may as well not be there at all. Yes, you can see the inlet downstream from the property, but is not a lakeview nor is it overlooking the lake. Listing the property as such is an exaggeration at best and an outright lie at worst.
The decor looked nice and the hot tub was pleasant. We slept poorly and feel the listing is deceptive. I was actually angry that first day when we got there, but it was our anniversary so we just dealt with it.
Not worth the $1000 I spent.
