"The staff were helpful, polite and attentive. The place was well-equipped with amenities such as high-speed WiFi, 3 tvs, hair dryer, hot water, and shampoo and conditioner. The washer and dryer were a nice touch even if we didn’t need to use them. Would definitely stay again!"

"I recently stayed at Modern Home in Old Town through Vrbo, and unfortunately, it was not the experience I hoped for. I paid for an extra day to ensure access to the property upon arrival. However, when I got there, the previous tenants were just leaving, leaving the house uncleaned and not ready for us.The sliding doors were another issue; they lacked any mechanism to lock or secure them, which raised security concerns during our stay. Trying to reach out to the host for the keys proved...

"We loved our stay at Hotel Genessis! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, the pictures don’t do it justice. This hotel was one of the highlights of our time in Antigua. Staff was very friendly and helpful and available 24/7. The breakfast made to order each morning was absolutely delicious. The rooms were beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The beds were soft and the air conditioner worked wonderfully. There is also rooftop access with amazing volcano views and the interior of the hotel is just breathtaking. The hotel is a little outside of the center of town at a dead end street, so it’s very quiet. The location is still convenient and you can easily get to the center of everything in about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber. I would definitely stay here again and was only disappointed that our stay here wasn’t longer! "

"Our stay at this beautiful colonial-style villa in Antigua, GA, was both comfortable and memorable. The secure entrance added peace of mind—you’ll need a code to enter the property, which is tucked toward the back of a gated area. It’s a bit tricky to find at first, and there’s a longer walk up to the gate, but communication with the staff was excellent, and they guided us promptly and kindly. We stayed in the Colonial Room, which was incredibly spacious and elegant. The bathroom was huge, giving the space a luxurious feel. The atmosphere throughout the villa is warm, homey, and cozy—perfect for travelers looking for a peaceful and affordable stay. A few minor drawbacks: the shower could have been cleaner, and the windows weren’t fully sealed, which occasionally let bugs in. However, housekeeping and room service were fast, attentive, and very helpful—truly a highlight of the experience. Overall, we would definitely recommend this place to budget-conscious travelers seeking comfort, space, and a charming colonial vibe in Antigua."
